God damn, this actually kinda sucks. I got the box with pure excitement just before opening the box but was left feeling like James Charles father who knew what James would do in decades to come. So, the belt itself looks pretty cool from a distance and if you were nearly blind but if you scan for the details, you really get to see the devil...
Probably the worst problem is the US flag itself, which honestly looks a bit vandalised but I guess that's just the nature of this decade. The S in schiek looks a bit scrappy too, with the stitching missing a bit at the top (hard to explain without showing, but you get it, it looks sub par). Now, I don't know whether this is the fault of schiek itself or urbangymwear but this next little problem made me think that it's the latter's! Rust was apparently shoved into the crevices where the d rings resign, which even got onto the surrounding "leather"! Not to mention the bolts had discolouration and there was white fluff (or whatever the hell it was) over the belt. How does it perform? Fine, I guess, works with chins/ pull ups, and dips too (sorta slides down but that's due to my thin waist of 28.5 inches) so if this belt were to be a human it'd be a female +87kg Olympic weightlifter, kinda ugly (but not in your face ugly like the weight lifters are) but works. Unlike a normal person, I won't be returning it just so that when someone asks about it in the gym, I'll be able to tell them not to get it (at least not from here.
FYI, this is more of a 2.5/5
